Ingredients

1 cpersimmon pulp (mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda)

1 cgranulated sugar

1 cchopped walnuts

1 craisins or cranraisins

2 call-purpose flour
-
1egg
-
1/2 cvegetable shortening
-
1 tspcinnamon, ground
-
1 tspnutmeg
-
1 tspallspice, ground
-
1 tspsalt
How to Make Persimmon Cookies
- Combine ALL ingredients, and mix well.
- Drop by table spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325 for 12-15 minutes. Cookies should be firm, but not crunchy and soft but not gooey.
