my mom, aunt, and i used to make these cookies alot when i was a child. some of my fondest childhood memories are of baking monster cookies with my mom. i mean what more could you ask for as a ten yr old kid..... m&m's, chcolate chips in a huge cookie. yum!

Ingredients

  • 12
    lg. eggs
  • 2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 3 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 lb
    butter, room temperature
  • 3 lb
    smooth or crunchy peanut butter
  • 18 c
    oats, uncooked
  • 1 lb
    m&m's
  • 1 lb
    chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp
    salt

How to Make mom's monster cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. cream butter,sugars,eggs,vanilla and syrup together
  3. add peanut butter and mix well
  4. mix dry ingredients together
  5. add to creamed mixture and mix well
  6. stir in choc. chips and m&m's
  7. drop by the tbsp. full on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 min.
