my mom, aunt, and i used to make these cookies alot when i was a child. some of my fondest childhood memories are of baking monster cookies with my mom. i mean what more could you ask for as a ten yr old kid..... m&m's, chcolate chips in a huge cookie. yum!

yield makes 14 dozen cookies

Ingredients

12 - lg. eggs
2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
2 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 pound butter, room temperature
3 pounds smooth or crunchy peanut butter
18 cups oats, uncooked
1 pound m&m's
1 pound chocolate chips
2 teaspoons salt

How To Make mom's monster cookies

Step 1

preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2

cream butter,sugars,eggs,vanilla and syrup together
Step 3

add peanut butter and mix well
Step 4

mix dry ingredients together
Step 5

add to creamed mixture and mix well
Step 6

stir in choc. chips and m&m's
Step 7

drop by the tbsp. full on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 min.
