Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup softened butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 1 12 oz packages chocolate chips
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
How To Make mom's chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl until well combined and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir chocolate chips and nuts into cookie dough until well mixed.

Step 2Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto un-greased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes, until edges are golden brown.

Step 3Cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
