Chocolate chip cookies just the way mom makes them!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup softened butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 12 oz packages chocolate chips
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

How To Make mom's chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl until well combined and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir chocolate chips and nuts into cookie dough until well mixed.
  • Step 2
    Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto un-greased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
  • Step 3
    Cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
