molasses krinkles
At Christmas I make a batch of this dough and roll them into gingerbread men, women and houses and frost. They are one of the best cookies I have ever eaten, my family likes the regular cookie all year long.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
How To Make molasses krinkles

Step 1Mix together the shortening, brown sugar, eggs and molasses.

Step 2Mix all dry ingredients together. Add two mixtures together.

Step 3Chill dough. Roll into balls and then into sugar.

Step 4Bake at 375-degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Step 5This cookie may also be rolled and cut out. Then frost with desired frosting.
