I really love these coffee-flavored treats. There are a great take-a-long dessert for a picnic or anytime snack with a nice glass of milk on the side.

Ingredients

  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    cold coffee
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 - 2 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Mocha Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Grease 15x10x1" baking pan.
  2. In large mixing bowl, beat eggs, oil, coffee & vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, & baking soda.
  4. Add dry ingredients to coffee mixture; beat until smooth.
  5. Pour into greased baking pan.
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes or until top spring back when lightly touched.
  8. Cool completely before cutting.
