mmmm oatmeal raisin cookies

This is another recipe i found off a crisco can but i changed it some . these are also my hubby's and my mother in law's favorite cookies . i can't keep these in my house when the hubby is home he inhales them all and i made some for my mother in law this christmas and she said they were awesome !

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup crisco butter flavor all-vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar ( i use light brown sugar)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour ( i use king arthur flour )
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 3/4 cups old fashion rolled oats ( i use quaker )
  • 1 cup raisins ( u may use any brand you like )

How To Make mmmm oatmeal raisin cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat Oven to 350 degrees. coat baking sheets with a non- stick cooking spray .
  • Step 2
    Beat shortening,sugar,& brown sugar in a large bowl at meduim speed until blended . beat in eggs and vanilla . combine flour,baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Beat into shortening mixture until smooth . stir in your oats and raisins
  • Step 3
    Drop roounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on baking sheets. bake 10 to 12 mins or until light brown cool on baking sheets 2 mins . remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely ... enjoy!
