Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 sticks butter, softened
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 ounces condensed milk
How To Make mint squares

Step 1Preheat oven 350. Grease 9x13 cake pan.

Step 2In a bowl add flour, sugars, cocoa, baking powder and salt; stir. Add 3/4 cup of the softened butter; with a pastry blender mix until it makes crumbs.

Step 3Add eggs, 1/4 tsp mint extract to the crumb mixture; stir until combined.

Step 4Scoop batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes; test with toothpick for doneness.

Step 5In a saucepan over low heat add 1/2 cup butter and chocolate chips; stir and melt. Once melted add condensed milk and remaining mint extract; stir until smooth.

Step 6Remove cake from oven; pour melted chocolate mixture evenly over top of cake. Let the cake cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares. Keep refrigerated.
