Don't know the reason for this odd name on this cookie, but for whatever reason they are as special as that name! I got this recipe years ago from a hostess on QVC! It is a delicious cookie, and they disappear quickly!

How to Make Minnesota Mail Carrier Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2Dissolve the baking soda in warm water, and then combine with all the ingredients.
  • 3Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined baking sheets. Bake about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
