My grandkids love making these cookies with me...I love making them with my grandkids!!

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow butter-flavored cake mix
  • 2 c
    oatmeal (not instant)
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    oil
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    pecans and/or walnuts (1 cup total)
  • ·
    raisins

How to Make Mimi's Good Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients. Add oil, eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add nuts and/or raisins. Roll into walnut-sized balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for about 12 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheets and let cool. store in an airtight container. Chocolate chips or butterscotch chips can be substituted for raisins if desired,.
