Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup real butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • - powdered sugar for dusting and rolling
  • 1 cup , less 2 t., flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make mexican wedding cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 300. Grease a large baking sheet. Cream softened butter and powdered sugar. Add flour, pecans, and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls, and place them on the baking sheet. Flatten each one with a glass that's been dipped in powdered sugar.
  • Step 3
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Roll each cookie in additional powdered sugar once they're done.
