I like to give credit were credit is do but I honestly did recall how I got/ found this recipe. The kids in my classes have made these and enjoy them.

Ingredients
- 1 - basic cookie dough recipe
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 2 cups sugar-confectioner's
How To Make mexican wedding cake

Step 1Prepare basic cookie recipe substituting brown sugar for granulated sugar and adding pecans to the batter with the flour.

Step 2You don't need to chill dough to roll in sugar. Place confectioners' sugar in a shallow bowl. Roll tablespoons of dough into walnut sized balls between the palms of you hands.

Step 3Then roll them in powdered sugar to coat. Transfer to baking sheets, place 2 inches apart. Bake and cool 5 minutes. While still warm roll cookies in the sugar again. Place on a rack to cool completely.
