Ingredients For meringue cookies

    egg whites
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make meringue cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Beat the egg whites until they form a soft peak
  • 3
    Gradually add the sugar and beat mixure until stiff peaks form
  • 4
    Stir in the vanilla, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts
  • 5
    Line cookie sheets with foil and drop cookie mixture on the foil by spoonfuls to create 1 to 1/2 inch mounds
  • 6
    Place cookies in the preheated oven and then turn oven off. Leave the cookies undisturbed in the oven overnight
