How to Make Meringue Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Beat the egg whites until they form a soft peak
  3. Gradually add the sugar and beat mixure until stiff peaks form
  4. Stir in the vanilla, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts
  5. Line cookie sheets with foil and drop cookie mixture on the foil by spoonfuls to create 1 to 1/2 inch mounds
  6. Place cookies in the preheated oven and then turn oven off. Leave the cookies undisturbed in the oven overnight
