These cookies are very popular with my family. I've made them with and without icing. Any flavor icing works, lemon is our favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- ICING:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make melting moment cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter, add sugar and mix until fluffy. Fold in flour and cornstarch. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Form into 1" balls.

Step 2Arrange 2" apart on cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of sugared glass. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.

Step 3ICING: Cream butter and gradually add powdered sugar, beating until fluffy. Beat in lemon juice. Ice cookies when cool.
