These cookies do exactly that "Meltaway" in your mouth. They are a good cookie for just because or holidays.

Ingredients

1 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make meltaway cookies

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla well. Blend in flour and salt.

Step 2

Drop by teaspoon or cookie scoop on an ungreased cookie sheet. Or you can use a cookie press to make attractive cookies for the Holidays! NOTE: I always parchment line all my cookie sheets.
Step 3

Bake cookies in a 400 degree oven for 8 minutes. Let set on cookie sheet. Remove cookie while warm and dip in confectioners sugar.
