I got this flourless recipe several years ago from a friend and co-worker, Maureen Kraak. I first made the entire recipe and ran out of plastic containers trying to find storage containers for them all. My recipe card now also has the amounts for one-half batch and one-fourth batch written on it.

They are so good! This recipe is a grandchild pleaser!

Ingredients

brown sugar
4 c
white sugar
1 Tbsp
vanilla
1 Tbsp
syrup
8 tsp
baking soda
1 lb
butter (not margarine)
3 lb
peanut butter
18 c
oatmeal, uncooked
1 lb
chocolate chips
1 lb
m & ms

How to Make Maureen's Monster Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Get out a dishpan or VERY large bowl.
  • 2Mix all ingredients in order given. (It usually takes two people, one to stir and one to hold the pan.)
  • 3Drop by tablespoon or small ice cream scoop.
  • 4Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
  • 5Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Do not over bake.
  • 6NOTE: Recipe does not call for flour.
  • 7Makes 7-8 dozen cookies.
