ma's mexican wedding cookies
Ma always liked these cookies, so I baked them especially for her any time we knew she would be visiting for the holidays. Later on in life, she asked me to make her pecan pie, which I also happily did for her. These cookies are great with a cup of tea (or coffee if you prefer), not to sweet, but just sweet enough, just like Ma.

How To Make ma's mexican wedding cookies

Step 1Cream together: 7/8 cup soft butter 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Step 2Add: 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour dash salt 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Step 3Form into little balls and bake 30 min at 325 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
