Ingredients For mary jane's pineapple cookies

1 cbutter, softened

1 1/2 csugar

1egg
-
9 ozcan crushed pineapple with juice

3 1/2 cflour

1 tspsoda
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/2 cchopped nuts (optional)
How To Make mary jane's pineapple cookies

1Mix thoroughly the butter, sugar and egg. Stir in pineapple with juice.

2Stir in together the flour, soda, salt and nutmeg then add to the wet ingredients.

3Chill at least 1 hour. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350º until when touched lightly with finger no imprint remains, about 8-10 minutes.
