Ingredients
- 5 cups unsifted flour
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ginger (large)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmet
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
How To Make margaret's ginger cookies

Step 1Cream eggs and sugar together. When well creamed, add the molasses, sugar, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Step 2Dissolve the baking soda in 1 cup of lukewarm water and add to creamed mixture.

Step 3Slowly add the unsifted flour until a soft paste is formed.

Step 4Put small scoops on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes @ 375* F.
