Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon maple extract/flavoring
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup pecans, finely minced (process is fine)
- - powdered sugar for dusting
How To Make maple pecan butter cresent cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375* Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Beat in Maple flavoring.

Step 2Stir in the flour and salt until dough is smooth..Then stir in pecans. Chill for 30 minutes

Step 3Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, then roll out to make an oval shape which can be turned into a cresent shape.

Step 4Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake in a 375* oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are firm but not browned. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar while still warm. great with a nice cup of tea. xoxoxo
