These have been a family favorite for many years, they will melt in your mouth. change the flavor by using a different extract, I love them with almond extract also. enjoy. xoxo

butter, room temperature
1/2 c
1 large
1/2 tsp
maple extract/flavoring
2 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
3/4 c
pecans, finely minced (process is fine)
powdered sugar for dusting

How to Make Maple Pecan Butter Cresent Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 375*
    Cream butter with sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in Maple flavoring.
  • 2Stir in the flour and salt until dough is smooth..Then stir in pecans.
    Chill for 30 minutes
  • 3Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, then roll out to make an oval shape which can be turned into a cresent shape.
  • 4Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake in a 375* oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are firm but not browned.
    Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar while still warm. great with a nice cup of tea. xoxoxo
