1/2 corange juice
3 1/2 csifted flour
2 1/2 tspbaking powder
1 tspvanilla extract
1/2 cwhite raisins
1/2 cchopped walnuts
1/4 cmarachino cherries
8 ozbutterscotch chips
How to Make Mandelbread/Biscotti
- Mix the butter and sugar together.
Add remaining ingredients in order given.
This will be a sticky dough.
On lightly greased baking sheet, using a spoon, make three (3) long loaves.
With back of spoon smooth together and flatten somewhat.
Sprinkle wth sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes till lightly browned or till toothpick comes out clean.
Cut on the diagonal.
FOR BISCOTTI- after cutting, place on baking sheet (cut side down) and return to oven for approximately 5 minutes per side till lightly toasted and crispy.
FOR MANDELBREAD.....cut and do not toast
