  • 1 c
    butter flavor shortening
  • 1 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    malted milk powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    chocolate syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
  • 2 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    chocolate chunks

How to Make Malt Chocolate Chip Cookies


  1. Combine shortening, brown sugar, milk powder, chocolate syrup and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the egg. Continue to mix.
  3. Combine flour, soda and salt. Gradually add to the mix. Stir in chocolate pieces and chips.
  4. Drop onto cookie sheets and bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.
