I have been making these cookies since i was a little girl with my mom. Now I make them with my boys.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups butter room temp
2 cups sugar
4 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
MADE WITH LOVE FROSTING
1 - stick butter room temp
5 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon almond extreact(you can use vanilla but i like almond)
5 tablespoons milk
- food coloring and sprinkles

How To Make sugar cookies

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl cream togather butter and sugar untill smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Stirr in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and chill for at least one hour to overnight.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350. Roll out dough to 1/4 to 1/2 in thick. Cut out with cookie cutters. place on baking sheet and bake 6-8 min.
Step 3

Frosting..beat togather all ingreidents.
Step 4

Frost and decorate cookies
