Ingredients

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 teas tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    margarine
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1
    large egg plus 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cups c
    plain m&m's
  • 3/4 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together margarine and sugars. Add egg and yolk. Mix until blended. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture. Once completely combined, fold in M&M's and chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon onto non-stick, parchment lined or Pam sprayed cookie sheet. For soft cookies, bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
