lunch lady chocolate cookies
I’ve been a lunch lady for 14 years, and I have the best job in the world !! These cookies are always requested by our school superintendent and are his FAVORITE of all the cookies I bake !! .. He is retiring soon and I have been asked to make them for his retirement dinner !! I’m honored !!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips, mini
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
How To Make lunch lady chocolate cookies

Step 1Cream butter, vanilla, shortening, and brown and white sugars.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated.

Step 3Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 4Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Dough will be stiff.

Step 5Drop dough by rounded tablespoons (or use cookie scoop) onto parchment lined baking sheets.

Step 6Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
