Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup splenda (not baking mix; baking mix contains sugar)
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup buttermilk (or 1/4 cup milk + 1 tsp lemon juice)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocloate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Combine butter, oil and Splenda. Add egg and mix well.

Step 3In separate bowl, combine flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda. Add to egg mix, alternating with buttermilk.

Step 4Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet; flatten slightly with a fork. Bake about 10-12 minutes. Move to cooling rack.
