love my chocolate chip cookies
This is a recipe I have had rave reviews on all my life. They are easy and so tastee. Made these at work monday and had to make two batches.

Ingredients
- BEAT TOGETHER
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 - egg
- THEN ADD
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- MIX WELL AND FOLD IN
- 6 ounces chocolate chips

Step 1Beat together egg, sugars, and butter. add the vanilla and flour with the baking soda, baking powder and salt added. Mix well.(If batter isnt stiff add a little more flour.)

Step 2Stir in the chocolate chips.

Step 3Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cook at 350 degrees for 12-13 minutes until just done. Do NOT over bake.
