I found this recipe in the April/May 2013 issue, and can't wait to make it for my family on Easter Sunday.

Ingredients

1 c
butter, softened
1 c
sugar
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed

eggs
2 tsp
vanilla extract
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 c
miniature pretzels, broken
1 1/2 c
coconut, flaked
1 1/2 c
milk chocolate m&m's

How to Make Loaded Up Pretzel Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 2In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 3Shape 1/4 cupfuls of dough into balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire rack, to cool.
