light crunch sugar cookies
The story is I like my cookies with a crunch NOT HARD and a friend told me she had just the cookie. We made them and took to a dinner at the VFW she told me she takes them all the time and they are the first to be gone...AND SHE WAS RIGHT! With in 30 minutes a double recipe we made was gone in no time. They have a wonderful flavor and a light crunch.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 11/2 cups sugar
- 21/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
How To Make light crunch sugar cookies

Step 1Mix together all ingredients, Roll into balls drop in sugar Bake at 375 for 10-12 min cool on flat surface or on cool racks that don' t have big holes. Nice crunch cookie =)
