butter, room temperature
1 c
granulated sugar
3 c
all purpose flour sift before measuring
1 tsp
baking soda
small can (6 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and divided
2 tsp
finely grated lemon peel, optional
granulated sugar

How to Make Lemonade Cookies


  • 1Cream butter and sugar until light; add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Sift together the sifted flour, baking soda; add to the creamed misture, alternating with 1/2 cup of the lemonade concentrate. Stir in grated lemon peel. Drop dough by teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • 2Bake cookies at 400 degrees for 8 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Brush hot cookies with remainig lemonade concentrate then sprinkle with a little sugar.
  • 3Remove cookies to rack and let cool and then enjoy.
