My family and co-workers were surprized to find out these were made with cake mix.

Ingredients

1 box lemon cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 - egg
1 box powdered sugar
3 - eggs
8 ounces cream cheese

How To Make lemon square

Step 1

Mix first 3 ingredients with spoon.

Step 2

Pat with hands in 9x13 pan and raise edges.
Step 3

Mix next 3 ingredients with mixer,pour over cake mix dough.
Step 4

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minute.
Step 5

Cool then cut in squares.
Step 6

You can also use Chocolate Cake Mix instead of Lemon Add pecans to cream cheese mix.
