Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1-3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    raisins

How to Make Lemon Raisin Crisscross Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter with sugar. Blend in egg and lemon extract.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to butter-sugar mixture and mix until a compact dough is formed.
    Stir in raisins.
    Roll into 1 inch balls.
  2. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with fork dipped in flour, making a crisscross pattern.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
