- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add to this the egg and flavorings. Sift together flour, b.p., and salt adding this mixture one cupful at a time to the wet ingredients. Mix until dough forms a ball. Roll out on floured parchment paper and cut out into shapes. Bake at 400 for 7 to 8 min.
