Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups unsifted flour
- 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3/4 cup cold butter
- 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 4 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- LEMON ICING
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice from concentrate
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Step 1Assemble ingredients

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 In medium bowl, combine flour and confectioners' sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press onto bottom of lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan bake 15 minutes.

Step 3Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients except icing; mix well.

Step 4Spread evenly over baked crust; bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. Spread with lemon icing; chill. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.

Step 6Lemon Icing: Combine 2 cups confectioners' sugar, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice concentrate and 2 tablespoons of softened butter or margarine, mix until smooth.. If you like a lot of icing; double the batch. I find that the icing is a bit thick, I like mine thinner, so , I added about a tablespoon of cream.
