Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
How To Make lemon crumb bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish

Step 2In a medium bowl, mix together flour, oats, salt and baking soda. Add sugars and mix until there are no lumps of sugar.

Step 3Add vanilla to melted butter. Stir butter into dry ingredients. Press about half of the mixture into the baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 4While the crust is baking, Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, egg yolks, and lemon extract until well blended.

Step 5Pour mixture over the crust. Sprinkle evenly with other half of the crumb mixture. Return to oven. Bake for 25 minutes.

Step 6Remove from oven and allow to cool at room temperature. Once cool, cover and refriderate for at least 30 minutes. Remove and cut into squares.
