These Lemon Cookies are so good, and they're equally good glazed or without the glaze. The recipe produces a soft, chewy cookie with a lemon glaze on top, for an added citrus boost.

Baking time assumes all 4 dozen cookies are baked in one batch. If your oven will accommodate only 2 cookie sheets, you might have to bake them in two batches and that will increase the total baking baking time. But each batch will still be about 9-12 minutes.

  3. Grab pieces of dough and roll into 1-inch balls, and place dough balls on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake in preheated oven (350°F) for 9 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden on the edges of cookies.
  5. Combine glaze ingredients in a medium bowl, and whisk until smooth. Drizzle over slightly warmed cookies, and set frosted cookies aside to cool completely.
