My sister in law gave me this recipe about 35 years ago. She bragged on it and bragged on it till finally I tried it (I'm not a fan of lemony things) and low and behold it was as good as she had bragged!

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 - eggs
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice
- - grated rind from one lemon
How To Make lemon bars

Step 1Blend margarine, 2 cups flour and powdered sugar. Pat into 9X13 pan and bake 15 minutes or until light brown

Step 2Sift sugar, flour and baking powder, add eggs, lemon juice and rind. Blend well. Spread over baked crust.

Step 3Bake 25 minutes in 350F oven and cool. Cut into squares. Dust with powdered sugar.
