  • 1 stick
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla or any compatable flavoring
  • 2/3 c
    leftover candy (easter, halloween, christmas)
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour

How to Make Leftover Easter Candy Cookies


  1. In a medium bowl beat together sugars, egg, butter, baking powder, salt and flavoring.
  2. Add flour mixing well. fold in candy and drop by teaspoon fulls into a cookie sheet. bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Take out when lightly browned and still soft, do not over bake.
  3. I used a 1 oz white chocolate bunny, 20 mini Reeses peanut butter cups, and a cadbury egg all chopped for the left over candy
