Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened- very, very soft (do not use margarine)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour (not sifted)
- 6 ounces package of semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
- 1 cup sugar
How To Make kookie brittle

Step 1In a large bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed, Cream butter add salt & vanilla beat in sugar until light & fluffy scrapping bowl occasionally.

Step 2Add flour a little at a time; continue to mix until well combined; By Hand stir in chocolate & nuts;

Step 3Pat dough with hands onto a Greased pan or cookie sheet& bake about 25 minutes until LIght brown at edges on 375. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Once cooled BREAK up with hands into pieces & enjoy I place the pieces into decorative bowls and place on coffee table. I also bag them and give as gifts in decorative bags. THERE ARE NEVER ANY LEFT OVER :0)
