I made this cookie by mistake. It looked kind of wired but tasted real good...

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    peanuts

How to Make Kit's Peanut Brittle Cookies...

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Sift together the first 3 ingredients. In a medium bowl cream the butter & brown sugar.
  3. Then beat 2 tablespoons of the egg with the vanilla. Then add in the peanuts & mix well.
  4. Combine both mixes & mix very well. Making sure to blend all together.
  5. Then spread the dough on a greased cookie sheet. Then brush with the remaining egg.
  6. Sprinkle the top with more peanuts.
  7. Bake for about 20 to 25 mins. Break or cut into pieces while still warm.
