I make this cookie recipe when ever I make my Mac Nut Pie recipe, because I always have left over nuts. This is a favorite in my house with my family, friends & co-workers. i always sneak 1 before I tell others I made them or theres none left for me...

Ingredients

1 cup butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
1 - egg, beaten
3 tablespoons vanilla extract
5 cups all purpose flour
1 cup mac nuts, chopped

How To Make kit's mac nut cookies...

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350F. In a lager bowl combine & cream the butter & sugar. Add the beaten egg with the vanilla & mix well.

Step 2

A little at a time add in the four, mix to blend & then mix in the nuts.
Step 3

Spoon out about 1 inch or 1 Tbsp size, place on a prepared cookie sheet. Bake for about 8 to 10 mins or until golden brown.
Step 4

Note: Bake for less time if you like chewy cookies.
