No raisins, no cranberries, no problem! These oatmeal cookies are delicious and loaded with flavor. I hope you give them a try.

Ingredients For just oatmeal cookies

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, light (packed)
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    old-fashioned oats
  • 1 3/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How To Make just oatmeal cookies

    Using a large bowl and the electric mixer, cream the butter and the sugars together on high until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.

    Add the eggs and vanilla, mix until smooth.

    In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

    On medium speed, gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients.

    Stir in the old-fashioned oats.

    Line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a small cookie scoop, place cookie dough on lined cookie sheets.

    Bake cookies in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Bake until the edges turn brown.
