Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, light (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make just oatmeal cookies

Step 1Using a large bowl and the electric mixer, cream the butter and the sugars together on high until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.

Step 2Add the eggs and vanilla, mix until smooth.

Step 3In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 4On medium speed, gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients.

Step 5Stir in the old-fashioned oats.

Step 6Line the cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a small cookie scoop, place cookie dough on lined cookie sheets.

Step 7Bake cookies in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Bake until the edges turn brown.
