1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg

2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup pecans, optional

How To Make june's spice cookies, ma

Step 1

Soak raisins in boiling water and let stand. Mix all ingredients well, and add 1/2 c pecans. They will be chewy if not baked too long.

Step 2

June did not give any baking directions. However another spice cookie recipe by another friend of Ma's says bake at 350 degrees about 10 min.
