A great neighbor and friend, Kaye Montieth, (from TN but now in TX) gave me this recipe many years ago. I always think of her whenever I make them. These are sweet but good.

UPDATE: (5/1/12) Kaye's son, Kyle, and I hooked up on facebook. He told me that Kaye died in 2003 from melanoma skin cancer. She was in her early 50's. I cried when I read his message. This recipe is now more special than ever.

  2. Spread 1/2 box of whole graham crackers in shallow pan and pour the boiled mixture on top. Place the remaining whole graham crackers over that then frost & cut.
  3. FROSTING: Melt butter, then gradually add powdered sugar & mix well. Add the milk & vanilla & mix to a spreading consistency. You may need to add more milk to achieve that consistency.
  4. KEEP REFRIGERATED.
These are sweet so you can't eat a belly full.
