These pizzelle's are so good. This is a recipe my Mom would make during the holiday's. They are very light and the flavors you use, like vanilla, lemon and almond are great in this recipe. When served at the holiday season, this is the first tray of cookies to disappear.

Ingredients

  • scoop 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter - cooled
  • 3/4 cup sugar

How To Make italian pizzelles

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs and sugar
  • Step 2
    Add cooled melted butter and add extract. You can use any flavoring, like vanilla, lemon but I use almond flavoring.
  • Step 3
    Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture
  • Step 4
    Batter will be stiff enough so you can drop by a full teaspoon on each side of Pizzelle Baker.
  • Step 5
    You can refrigerate this dough so you can make it a later time.
  • Step 6
    Makes about 30 to 35 pizzelles.
