- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 3 - eggs
- 11/2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 2 cups flour
- 11/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- FROSTING
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1/8 cup water
How To Make italian lemon cookies

Step 1Mix together the eggs and shortening, then add the rest. For each cookie into a teaspoon sized ball placed 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely before frosting and adding sprinkles.
