Frosting is just some powder sugar mixed with little milk. Sprinkles can be added if desired.
Substitute vanilla extract with almond extract. Or do a half and half with each extract for a different taste.
- 1/2 c
- unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 c
- 1 1/2 tsp
- vanilla extract
- 3 c
- 3 tsp
- baking powder
How to Make Italian Cookies
- 1Combine flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.
- 2Mix sugar and eggs, add melted butter and extract. Mix well.
- 3Add flour mixture and blend thoroughly,
Refrigerate until cold enough to handle.
- 4Form into quarter size balls or desired shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let cool. then frost and decorate.
