italian butterball cookies with chocolate

I would always gobble these up whenever I saw them on the cookie trays at every party or at Christmas. They are easy to make and are tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make italian butterball cookies with chocolate

  • Step 1
    Mix butter with sugar until fluffy. Add salt, extract, flour, nuts, and chocolate. Mix well. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Heat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    Shape dough into 1/2" balls. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes until light brown. Let cool. Roll in confectionery sugar.
