I make these cooikes during the hoildays and I even dip half in melted chocolate, I give to all the kids teachers as gifts...I love these cookies because it makes big batches and are very easy...I recieve request's every year..

Ingredients
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 cup butter (soften)
- 3 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon aniset extract
- GLAZE FOR COOKIES
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water, cold
- - candy sprinkles
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1Preheat oven 450 degrees.Grease cookis sheet lightly..

Step 2In large bowl stir flour,confection sugar and baking soda together.. Then cut in butter until well blended..Stir in eggs, aniset extract..Mix until it becomes firm..then knead for 5 mins on floured surface..Roll into walnut size balls and place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet..Bake for 8 to 10 mins.. Kool on wire rack placed on parchment paper..

Step 3Drizzle Glaze over cookies and sprinkle...let dry 10 mins and put on cookie plate..
