I got this recipe out of a East Bernstade KY cook book .I made this these the other day .There really good. My husband couldnt stop eating them.

- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Step 1In a mixing bowl best margarine or butter and peanut butter with a mixer about a min .Then add 1/2 cup of flour ,brown sugar,egg,baking soda,and vanilla.beat till thorought combined.Beat in remaining flour.Shape into 1 inch balls .Roll in sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.Flatten by crisscrossing with a fork .Bake in 350 oven for 7 to 9 minutes or till bottoms are lightly browned .Cool cookies on a wire rack.Makes about 36.
