1Cream butter, sugar, and egg yolk. Add vanilla and flour a little at a time, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonful on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees until set but not brown. Makes 24 small cookies. The recipe can be doubled but making the cookies in small batches works best.
Combine 1 ½ cups powdered sugar, 4 T. butter, 1 t. vanilla and enough milk to reach desired consistency. Divide into 3 custard cups and tint each cup to a green, pink and yellow pastel color. Ice cooled cookies.
